The Southern California Association of Fingerprint Officers web site is provided as a public service. The use of information from this site is offered without guarantees or endorsements.  Some information may contain descriptions of processes utilizing chemicals or combinations of chemicals that may be hazardous to the user’s health.  It is recommended that proper precautions be taken when using any chemicals.

The website's hosting service, "Aplusnet," has assured SCAFO that the only data they collect is disk and bandwidth usage. No visitor information is collected.  "Atomz.com" provides the indexing and search tools available on the site for visitors to utilize while visiting the site. Atomz.com has their own Privacy Statement at www.atomz.com. They also have assured us that the only information they collect from visitors utilizing the search tool is the search query and the IP address from where the search originated. They provide SCAFO with summaries of the queries (e.g., 182 searches of the word "fingerprints" during the last month).
