“Latent Print Rap”
by OFFICER ROBERT “BUBBA” NORRIS
Latent Fingerprints is what I do;
When I sling my dust I do it well;
You thought you got away because you weren't seen;
I found your pinky, your index, your ring & your thumb;
People work hard for the stuff they get;
You used an old woman's money for the dope you bought;
You looked real stupid when you took the stand;
Thieves, you're on notice & this is no brag;
Armed with my powder & my brush in hand;
You were really dumb when you handled that glass;
Unlike your tongue, your prints don't lie;
When you saw the police, you turned & ran away; (Editor--—A passing thought, maybe we should have a SCAFO version of Star Search at our next meeting. Then again, maybe we should let that thought just pass on by.)
