68th President - DENNIS UYEDA, 2005

The December meeting took place at LaPalapa Del-Mar Restaurant in Long Beach,   The Christmas meeting included the swearing-in of the incoming Board and a presentation by David Miranda, Pasadena PD on “CSI Making Friends with the Enemy. Dale and Teresa Falicon, LASD, provided home made gourmet chocolates for the attendees and Long time member Dick Rogers of Armor Holding and Evi-Pac gave a generous cash donation for door prizes for the dinner.

The February meeting took place at the Jolly Roger Restaurant in Oceanside.  Chuck Russell, SDSO,  give a talk on the Carolyn Exum Murder investigation.

A SCAFO Luncheon meeting took place at Busters Longboard in Long Beach.  Forensic Anthropologist Elizabeth Miller spoke on “Them Bones, Them Bones”.

The August dinner meeting took place at the Cask n’ Cleaver in Riverside.  The topics for the evening were A Colloquium on Court Testimony, Latent Print Recovery, and Daubert Issues.  

In February SCAFO sponsored two fingerprint techniques workshops given by Dick Warrington.  One was in Los Angeles and the other in San Diego
 
Dennis served with the California Department of Justice during his Presidency.
